Everyday. Revolution.
[r]evolve is a cross-media design lab. We focus on increasing brand resonance
with educated consumers between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five through
the exploration of new and innovative ideas in the fields of interactive, motion
and print design.
Brand Resonance—
What is a brand? Is it a logo? A marketing strategy? Hype? The easiest
way to understand “branding” is to think of it as the relationship
that an organization has with the world. In that sense, branding is the distillation
and reapplication of a company's core values through all available media. Branding
occurs every time an organization interacts with the world. It can be a controlled
process or it can be an organic one—it depends on the value that a company
places on controlling that relationship. A brand that resonates well with consumers
does so because it has a place of relevance in their daily lives. At [r]evolve,
our clients seek to increase brand resonance because they understand that branding
has the ability to tap into emotional responses that run deeper than their immediate
commercial objectives.
Strategic Process—
If it is our creativity that makes our work innovative, it is our process
that makes it both relevant and strategic. At [r]evolve, every project begins
with research into the internal and external factors that make our client's
situation unique. By working collaboratively with our client, the data that
we collect is transformed into meaningful information that serves as the basis
for a brand strategy. With a formal strategy in place, we are able to produce
component brand materials that are not only well designed, but are designed
well together.
[r]evolutionaries—
At [r]evolve, our senior creative team has over forty years of combined advertising
and design experience, ranging from print collateral and identity design to
broadcast graphics and cd-rom development. Our Indianapolis design lab is lead
by Charles Hinshaw and Betsy Ismail. Charles's background includes eight years
of interactive and motion design experience working with clients in Los Angeles,
Tokyo, New York, and Indianapolis. Betsy brings to [r]evolve eighteen years
of design experience working with ad agencies and design firms in Dayton, Cincinnati,
and Indianapolis. Our German design lab is lead by Karen Krings, whose background
includes fifteen years of design in Cincinnati, New York, London, and Köln.
In addition to having an experienced senior staff, [r]evolve has cultivated
an international network of creative talent—ranging from award winning
film directors to little-known, but amazingly talented, illustrators and artists.
